Toddler

The Toddler community is a caring and respectful environment for two-year-olds to work and play together. The classroom is attractively prepared with the needs of the toddler in mind by a Montessori trained Birth to Three teacher. Children explore with special materials and activities that help them develop their fine and gross motor abilities, language development, creativity, and practical living skills. The classroom is also rich in music and movement, food preparation, and exposure to the Spanish language. The children become aware and sensitive to the needs of others and develop a greater sense of helpfulness and tenderness to those around them. The class is a “living room” for the young child, facilitating independence and exploration, friendship, and cooperation.
